Jose Mrochek Bolivian singer/songwriter, was attracted by music since he was little but it wasn’t until he was 15 when his brother gave him the music sheets for Pink Floyd’s The Wall, that moment changed his life and it was in this moment when he decided to form his first rock band. Years later, Avionica was born.
In 2015, after signing to Radioactive Music Inc. Avionica premieres its new musical project, ELECTRICIDAD, with Colombian producer and Grammy winner Andrés Saavedra on board.
For this EP, he had the privilege to work with such greats as Pete Wallace on keyboards (Alejandro Sanz, La Ley, Pink) Paul Bushnell on bass (Tim McGraw, Alanis Morissette, Kelly Clarkson) and on guitars Alejandro García (Danny Wood, Ricky Martin, Franco de Vita). Mixed by Andrés Saavedra and mastered by Felipe Tichauer.
The sound of ELECTRICIDAD is more inclined to a more 80s pop than to an alternative rock sound of previous works. “I am very proud of what we achieved and hope people connect with these songs”
CALIFORNIA was his first album production, released in 2013 with 14 time Grammy® winner Sebastian Krys as a producer.

All the tracks from CALIFORNIA were written by José Mrochek, while the lyrics were collaborations with other musicians like Spanish and Grammy® nominee artist Vega, two time Grammy® nominee Elsten Torres and Chilean producer Cristian “Cacho” Romero. The production of the vocals for this album was led by Andrés Saavedra and was recorded in Miami, FL at Tommy Torres’ Jet Wash Studios.
