FOLLOWING A GREAT AND EMOTIONAL PERFORMANCE AT THE JINGLE BELL ROCK IN COLOMBIA DIAMANTE ELÉCTRICO WRAPS UP A FANTASTIC 2019 WITH THE PREMIERE OFTHE LONG-AWAITED MUSIC VIDEO FOR “SÓLO TU, DUELES” FEATURING VICENTE GARCIA
Regarded as one of the premier groups of the alternative scene, the three-time Latin Grammy Awards winning band Diamante Eléctrico closes out 2019 with a grand finale following an impeccable show at the Jingle Bell Rock in Bogotá, Colombia alongside the release of their long-awaited music video for “Sólo Tú, Dueles” featuring Vicente García.
Directed by Jonathan Specktor and Juan Pablo Rodríguez, the video was produced by Plan 9 Media and recorded in Bogotá, Colombia. Through pain and longing, this video narrates a very specific story that can be interpreted in a variety of ways. “When we first heard Diamante’s song we loved that it was absolutely cinematic. We just needed the right images to show both the pain and the longing that we think it communicates. Diamante was really open to this concept and as a result we believe we achieved a music video that feels more like a music film “, commented both directors.
The premiere coincides with the release of “BUITRES & CO“, a new collaborative project that features reinvented versions of the songs from the band’s acclaimed album, “BUITRES“, extends the audience an invitation to get lost and lose yourself. Without a doubt it is the most risky album by the Colombian band; far from the thunderous and powerful rock that has characterized them over its history. Welcoming other melodic and danceable feelings accompanied by some friends and musicians from different styles and different places like Enrique Bunbury, Alison Mosshart (The Kills & The Dead Weather), Rawayana, Los Petit Fellas, Francisca Valenzuela and Kase O, the sixth album begins to draw what will be 2020 loaded full of exciting new music.
