Óscar Ortiz Medina was born on September 12, 2002, in Tijuana, Baja California. He is the youngest of four brothers: William, Gerardo, and Kevin. His father is Antonio Ortiz, and his mother is Cecilia Medina.
From a young age, Óscar grew up in a family passionate about music, especially on his father Antonio Ortiz's side. His brothers, Gerardo and Kevin, entered the music industry at a young age. Seeing his brother Gerardo achieve great success in the Regional Mexican genre and earn significant awards inspired Óscar to pursue a career in music. His father's and brothers' support motivated him to explore the music world, initially by playing and singing at family gatherings and parties.
Over the years, accompanied by the piano and guitar—two instruments Óscar uses to add a special touch to his performances—he began recording songs and uploading them to YouTube, where he gradually gained recognition. As he developed his talent, he discovered his gift for songwriting. Óscar Ortiz has written songs such as "Estar con Otra," performed by Gerardo Ortiz, "Mi Motivo," sung by Luis Coronel, "En Qué Momento," interpreted by Kevin Ortiz, and his current single "FIRST LOVE."
Today, his compositions are performed by well-known artists in the Regional Mexican genre.
